To avoid such things to happen to your home have a little prevention. Buy a flea shampoo for your ferret care that is safe to use. It will help them to stay clean and stop itching. Flea powders are also available once your pet is infected. Pyrethrins are considered safe for flea protection. There are also flea repellants that could kill them. Wash your ferrets’ beddings in a hot water with bleach and also treat your carpet and furniture’s with flea powder. I suggest that you buy Borax, a laundry detergent because sit can kill the larvae. After washing it vacuum it up. Flea larvae are too small to be seen by the naked eye that can infect other pets at home including humans.

Always seek vet advice for any problems. These insects can carry diseases that might put your pets to a discomfort or even serious ferrets illnesses. Ferret care is needed to avoid these problems to occur.
